Raymond M. Baule, MD

Dr. Baule graduated medical school from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1992. His post-graduate training includes general surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital, Neurosurgery residency at Penn State University Hospital and Loma Linda University Medical Center. He completed fellowships in Complex Spinal Reconstruction at Erie County Medical Center of The University at Buffalo, and Neurotrauma at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Elmhurst Medical Center of the City University of New York. Dr. Baule’s clinical interests include neck and back pain, spinal disc disorders, minimally invasive spinal surgery, spinal fractures, complex spinal surgery, brain tumors, pituitary tumors, and peripheral nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
 
Dr. Baule and his family (wife Michelle, and daughters Alyssa and Olivia) have resided in Rocky Mount since 2004. He established Atlantic Neurosurgery in 2005.

Dr. Baule has hospital affiliations at Nash General Hospital, Wilson Medical Center, and Halifax Medical Center.
